This training material focuses on the generic introduction of the concept of e-learning process in higher education.

The adoption of e-learning has become a requirement at universities as it is enhancing the teaching and learning environment. E-learning incorporates numerous tools that provide academic institutions efficient and effective ways to store, manage, share its academic resources and knowledge and supplement their traditional way of teaching.

To facilitate an effective e-learning process, the concept will be initially explained within this module with references on the current practices, tools, cases, barriers and opportunities. The content of the Module will be composed of the main units – lesson where each one will include case studies and assessments. External resources and native material will also include videos and graphics.
